JEWS ARE OFTEN BLAMED FOR CRUCIFYING JESUS CHRIST, AT LEAST, THROUGHOUT HISTORY THIS CHARGE HAS BEEN LEVELED AT THEM. The Romans Actually Crucified Jesus of Nazareth And Pilate Had A Plague Erected Above Him Stating That He Was The King Of The Jews. The Jews evidently reject this, but many did become Christians and this caused quite some consternation at the time when the Jews were looking for a political savior, rather than an Eternal Savior who would pay the price for their sins, so that they might be freed from eternal damnation.

Speaking only from my personal perspective, that there are Jews who do not accept the Messiah, Lord Jesus Christ, is not something that racks my brains. Historically, from the biblical account, many of the Hebrews that came out of Egypt were stubborn and rebellious and lacked the conviction required to be worthy of their Savior. Consequently, we read in the Torah that many were forsaken.
  • And the Lord’s anger was kindled on that day, and he swore, saying, “Surely none of the men who came up out of Egypt, from twenty years old and upward, shall see the land which I swore to give to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, because they have not wholly followed me; none except Caleb the son of Jephunneh the Kenizzite and Joshua the son of Nun, for they have wholly followed the Lord.” (Numbers 32:10-12)
  • But if your heart turns away, and you will not hear, but are drawn away to worship other gods and serve them, I declare to you this day, that you shall perish; you shall not live long in the land which you are going over the Jordan to enter and possess. I call heaven and earth to witness against you this day, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and curse; therefore choose life, that you and your descendants may live, loving the Lord your God, obeying his voice, and cleaving to him; for that means life to you and length of days, that you may dwell in the land which the Lord swore to your fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give them.” (Deuteronomy 30:17-20)
Many people cannot understand how God can be love. They are baffled how a loving God could punish people, let alone banish them from His presence into outer darkness —where there will be such anguish for people that the analogy of wailing and gnashing teeth forever is provided as an indication of what is to be expected.

When people understand the concepts of integrity, righteousness and faithfulness are required for a person to be truly loving, they have no difficulty with understanding that love demands righteousness; righteousness demands justice; justice demands judgment.
For someone like myself, there is nothing perplexing about the fact that people choose to show God their middle finger because they love their own evil deeds and get a buzz from being self-righteous. If anything, what baffles me is how a prick like myself saw the light.
