THE BLESSED VIRGIN MARY SPEAKS TO PEOPLE EVEN THOUGH SHE HAS NOT RISEN FROM THE DEAD, WHICH BECOMES AN ISSUE FOR THOSE WHO ARE HEARING HER VOICE. The Bible Says That Jesus Rose From The Dead, The Saints Who Were Saved Before Jesus Died Rose From The Dead And Elijah And Enoch Did Not See Death. There is no reference to Mary having been raised to Heaven or raised from the dead in the Bible, but there is a prohibition on talking to the dead.

I feel alone regarding this. I mean, others would say “yes” but mostly refused details. Jesus and His Mother (The Blessed Virgin Mary) has spoken to me plenty of times and am willing to tell others about it as well, regarding that others are polite and courteous about such matters.

Happy Riches  Answer requested by Trish Meyer

Curiously, I would like to know what it is that you are being told by these voices that speak to you. I have met quite a number of people who have voices speaking to them. In fact, I have heard numerous voices myself that I would not say were the voice of God the Father, Lord Jesus Christ or the Holy Spirit.

The problem in respect to the mother of the baby that the Son of God entered (Hebrews 10:5) at birth, Mary was a mortal being and there is no evidence in the Bible that she has been raised from the dead or ascended into Heaven.

The Apostle John is believed to have been requested to look after Mary, before Jesus ascended to Heaven. People were raised from the dead after Jesus Himself was raised, but Mary was still alive at the time.
  • And behold, the curtain of the temple was torn in two, from top to bottom; and the earth shook, and the rocks were split; the tombs also were opened, and many bodies of the saints who had fallen asleep were raised, and coming out of the tombs after his resurrection they went into the holy city and appeared to many. (Matthew 27:51-53)
The next resurrection from the dead will be at the return of Jesus. Since there is no evidence of Mary being alive, we have to assume that she died sometime in the first century or, maybe, the second century. Since we assume that Mary, being born of a man and a woman, is dead—and to consult the dead is to consult evil spirits and demons—consulting her is to rebel against God (Leviticus 20:6).
  • And when they say to you, “Consult the mediums and the wizards who chirp and mutter,” should not a people consult their God? Should they consult the dead on behalf of the living? To the teaching and to the testimony! Surely for this word which they speak there is no dawn. (Isaiah 8:19–20)
  • Regard not them that have familiar spirits, neither seek after wizards, to be defiled by them: I am the Lord your God. (Leviticus 19:31)
  • If any of you go for advice to people who consult the spirits of the dead, I will turn against you and will no longer consider you one of my people. (Leviticus 20:6)
In the light of the above, your claim that “His Mother (The Blessed Virgin Mary)” is speaking to you, leaves me thinking that maybe you are hearing from somebody else other than the Spirit of God or the Father or Lord Jesus Christ.

However, if Jesus appears to you and speaks to you, then that is acceptable, according to the Bible. Jesus has risen from the dead and, besides myself, He has appeared to many people.
  • Then he [Jesus] appeared to more than five hundred brethren at one time, most of whom are still alive, though some have fallen asleep. (1 Corinthians 15:6)
Note that the Apostle has spoken of those, who have died among the five hundred who saw Jesus, saying that they have fallen asleep. The terminology that is used of those to be resurrected to eternal life but have died is “fallen asleep”. The Apostles, Paul and John, tell us that those who have fallen asleep (including those referred to having seen Jesus after His resurrection) will also be raised.
  • Lo! I tell you a mystery. We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised imperishable, and we shall be changed. (1 Corinthians 15:51-52)
  • But we would not have you ignorant, brethren, concerning those who are asleep, that you may not grieve as others do who have no hope. For since we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so, through Jesus, God will bring with him those who have fallen asleep. For this we declare to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive, who are left until the coming of the Lord, shall not precede those who have fallen asleep. For the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a cry of command, with the archangel’s call, and with the sound of the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first; then we who are alive, who are left, shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air; and so we shall always be with the Lord. (1 Thessalonians 4:13-17)
  • When he opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of those who had been slain for the word of God and for the witness they had borne; they cried out with a loud voice, “O Sovereign Lord, holy and true, how long before thou wilt judge and avenge our blood on those who dwell upon the earth?” Then they were each given a white robe and told to rest a little longer, until the number of their fellow servants and their brethren should be complete, who were to be killed as they themselves had been. (Revelation 6:9-11)
The idea of people having fallen asleep and they are resting in the presence of God is clearly evident in the above Scriptures; so is the teaching that those, who were saved before Jesus rose from dead, were raised when He was raised.

Since Mary, the mother of Jesus, has not been raised from the dead, the probability of anybody actually seeing her, or having her talk to them, is impossible. If anyone appeared, claiming to be Mary, the mother of Jesus, that would be an imposter. If a voice was heard making such a claim, the voice would be that of an imposter.

Moses and Elijah appeared on the Mount of Transfiguration (Matthew 17:2-4) but Elijah did not see death (2 Kings 2:9–12) and the body of Moses was not found either (Deuteronomy 34:5-6), for God took Him (Jude 1:9). There is no such mention in the Bible regarding Mary ascending or God taking her body—just like the death of the disciple who was instructed to look after her (John 19:26-27)—no mention whatsoever.

Many people are deceived, who think that God is speaking to them, when what they are hearing are familiar spirits. Contrary to the opinions of the ignorant, familiar spirits exist.

In the event that God were to speak to you, or Lord Jesus Christ, then whatever is said, would have to be in accordance with the Law and the prophets. The Bible is the guide I use to test the veracity of all things, having myself received the joy of salvation and having been taught, by the Holy Spirit, truths of Scripture. These truths tell me that only an imposter would be claiming to be Mary, the mother of Jesus, today—even in the spiritual realm. For there is only one mediator between God and human beings, Lord Jesus Christ (1 Timothy 2:5).

Anyone who takes a stand on visions is puffed up and deluded (Colossians 2:18). And I have had numerous visions, too many to recall them all. But I still refer to the Bible to see whether what I am being instructed is in accordance to what is written therein.
  • I have applied all this to myself and Apollos for your benefit, brethren, that you may learn by us not to go beyond what is written, that none of you may be puffed up in favor of one against another. (1 Corinthians 4:6)
Anyone who is abiding in the true teachings of the Apostles (Acts 2:42) does not go beyond what is written in the Bible.

Those Who Walk In The Light Of God Will Discern Good From Evil, It Is In The Law
