DOOMSDAY PREDICTIONS ARE ALWAYS BEING FORETOLD AND RELIGION IS OFTEN POINTED TO AS THE NUMBER ONE CULPRIT FOR WHERE THEY ARE FOUND. Not That Religions Are The Only Source Of Doomsday Predictions, For Many People Make Use Of Them To Control The Narrative. The obvious reason would have to be we are all doomed if we are heading towards death when we are born.

Religion, unfortunately, is misunderstood by so many who comment on it. For religion—that is, true religion—is the quest for the truth.

False religion is a man-made system of thought that is used to control the masses. False religion has it origins in the occult. The occult is based upon fear. Fear is the dread of the unknown.

True religion, which is the quest for the truth is based upon a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7) and reason (Isaiah 1:18). Unfortunately, too many people peddle myths saying that reason has nothing to do with faith in the Creator. But reason tells us that if there is a Creator, He would be speaking of paradise and blessing. The Bible tells us this is the case. For God has been kind to us all, even if people might claim that the horrible events that occur are the reason for their unwillingness to seek Him out. Theoretically, if the Creator God desired, He could cause pain for everyone for ever; such is His power. Yet the Bible informs us:
  • Or do you presume upon the riches of his kindness and forbearance and patience? Do you not know that God’s kindness is meant to lead you to repentance? (Romans 2:4)
The fact that evil exists in this world and we intuitively seem to possess the idea that  judgment is something that distinguishes between the good, the bad and the ugly, to suggest that there is no eternal recompense for wrongs done seems unjust.

Some ugly events that have a bad taste for many (e.g. spirit cooking), others see as good. Pol Pot and Stalin (just to name two) thought it a good idea to kill millions of people. Even today, certain individuals are on record saying it is a good idea to depopulate the Earth because the planet has exceeded its human carrying capacity. The inscription on the Georgia Guidestones says that the Earth’s population should be maintained at 500 million people. What some see as evil—depopulation, for instance—others see as good, even though it is ugly business.

People who are in the occult, or who claim to be predictors of the future, tap into fear. After all, who knows what the future is going to bring?  Thus, it is easy to control people by telling them fearful stories of doom. Even children are controlled by many parents using fear. Scaring children with evil predators (ghouls, bogey men, witches, etc) that prowl around in the dark of the night are known to serve as effective inhibitors for unwanted behavior. It just so happens, this fear that is rooted in children becomes easy to exploit when they become adults. Hence, the fortune-teller begins by predicting doom, in the hope that you will seek hope of better fortuitous circumstances for yourself—if only you would be foolish enough to believe her lies.

At the restaurant, a woman called me over, “I would be very weary of that young man,” she said.
"Why?" said, I.
She said, “I perceive he is more intelligent than you suspect.”
"Nice to know intelligence runs in the family," said I, fully aware of this failed loser’s con-game.
“Oh! You are are related,” said she, with an astonished look on her face.
Like the other tricksters and liars who want you to believe they can predict the future—for a dollar down, and more later—this woman began with the subtle deception of using fearful prospects that might be down the road, which on previous occasions had been useful for her to reel in her prey. Unfortunately for her, but fortunately for me, beguiled by her deceptiveness, I was not. My curiosity was not piqued.
Those who specialize in doomsday predictions, do so primarily to gain control over people. Fear is promoted not only in false religions of this world, but also every day through the fake news media.

The subtle message being sent though the airways is for people to beware! Do not think for yourself: civil war is about to erupt in the city. Do not think for yourself: the government will look after you. If you are about to be killed: wait for the police. Do not take action with your own hands: you will be charged with assault or murder. When you are about to be killed: always wait for the police.

Fear is part of living on this planet. If fear did not exist, then politicians would not have armed guards with guns. Fear is also a projection of one’s own insecurity. This comes from within. Uncertainty and fear are tools for those who promote evil. Yet those who respect other people, want them to possess the same rights as themselves.

Man-made religion does not want people to have the same rights. Man-made religion is used a means of control, and comes in many forms. Fear is the means that is used to gain control of the people. Create fear, provide a solution, and enslave the gullible.

Those of us who are not gullible, understand that if there is such a thing as right and wrong, there is such a thing as judgment to determine what is right and what is wrong. There is also such a thing as definition. There is such a thing as consequence. And we must not forget rewards for doing what is right and retribution for doing what is wrong.

True religion acknowledges that punishment is required for wrongdoing. This punishment may be restoring what was destroyed or stolen with compensation and penalty. When it comes to eternity, then compensation and penalty is out of the hands of mere mortals. For we are now speaking of the realm belonging to the Immortal One—the Omniscient One; the Omnipotent One—the Omnipresent One within Whom we all live and have our being. We mere mortals only know that our temporary time on this planet comes to an end and after that, unless justice is to be found, none exists for being born and having to suffer before dying and ceasing to be.

True religion is the quest to find the answers to life, without making up theories about what we might think happened before we were born or before the Universe came to be.

If God exists, then we should be able to communicate with Him, for He would definitely know about us. Communication requires a relationship. For we might be able to transmit noise, but unless it is understood, there cannot be any return communication. And communication by its very definition requires information to be transmitted, received and understood—hence, for a relationship to be, the receiver has to acknowledge the one transmitting.

The Psalmist states:
  • The heavens are telling the glory of God; and the firmament proclaims his handiwork. Day to day pours forth speech, and night to night declares knowledge. There is no speech, nor are there words; their voice is not heard; yet their voice goes out through all the earth, and their words to the end of the world. (Psalm 19:1–4)
People choose to believe in the ideas of mortal men who are nothing but a speck of dust in the scheme of the Universe. The evidence of a Creator is all around, but people would rather be fooled by some person who is seeking to gain control over them. That person may be saying you will suffer the eternal torment of being burnt by fire over and over again. Often the person says, you will lose out on everything, your career, the money, the comfort, the prestige, the power; but they will not tell you that you will lose out on enslavement to the system. Promoting fear is about control. It comes in many forms.

Buddha taught about the evil of suffering and that people needed to escape suffering now. The Buddha did not speak about the fear of suffering in eternal fires; still the concept of hell is found among Buddhists.

Hell
  • In Buddhism, Hell corresponds to several planes of existence below the one we are now living in. Depending on the type of negative karma a person accumulates in his lifetime, he may be consigned to a different one of these planes. In Buddhism, Hell is not permanent, because it is unfair to punish somebody eternally for mistakes one makes in this world. Instead, individuals learn a righteous path through suffering so that when they die, they will be reborn into a higher plane.—Heaven & Hell in Buddhism
Hell exists because people intuitively understand that there is a need for justice, which requires retribution for wrongdoing. This is the reason why doomsday predictions figure in false religions around the world. The true religion merely asserts that judgment will be brought about because it would be unjust that evil was not brought into account. But then you might call evil good—many do, except when they are on the receiving end.
