Here is the same two verses in another translation that is, in as much, an updated KJV:
- God, having in the past spoken to the fathers through the prophets at many times and in various ways, has at the end of these days spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, through whom also he made the worlds. (Hebrews 1:1–2 WEB)
There is nothing to do with angels in these two verses. What we are effectively being told is that even though God chose to speak through various means in days gone by, today He speaks through the death and resurrection of His Son, Lord Jesus Christ. The Son of God is not someone who came into existence at the biological birth of the baby that came from womb of the virgin Mary, rather this is the Logos of Life, through whom God made the Universe, who entered the body of virgin’s child.
