ROMAN CATHOLICS ARE INSULTED BY MOTHER OF GOD COMMENT. Muhammad Is Said To Have Claimed That Mary The Mother Of Jesus Will Be One Of His Wives In Heaven. People who are not indoctrinated into Islam immediately recognize that this has to be foolishness indeed, if it be true.

What is the religious significance of Muhammad saying “In heaven, Miriam (Mary mother of Jesus), will be one of my wives.” {Hadith al-Siyuti 6/395}?
Can any Islamic scholars please explain the religious significance of this hadith? —Fred Beaver

I am not a scholar of Islam like Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, but there appear to be overtones of pre-Islamic pagan worship of the moon god who married the sun god and had three daughters—al-Lat, al-'Uzza and Manat— which are alluded to in the Quran:
  • The sight [of the Prophet] did not swerve, nor did it transgress [its limit].He certainly saw of the greatest signs of his Lord. So have you considered al-Lat and al-'Uzza? And Manat, the third - the other one? Is the male for you and for Him the female? That, then, is an unjust division. They are not but [mere] names you have named them - you and your forefathers - for which Allah has sent down no authority. They follow not except assumption and what [their] souls desire, and there has already come to them from their Lord guidance. (Surah 53:17–23 )
However, when you ask what is the religious significance of Muhammad marrying Mary, this would have to be insulting to Roman Catholics who adore the mother of Jesus as the blessed Virgin, the Queen of Heaven and the Mother of God. I would expect Orthodox, Coptic and Maronite adherents also to be affronted by what the hadith suggests.

Those who know the Bible, would see this as a nonsense, because of what Jesus said to the religious bigots in his day:
  • But Jesus answered them, “You are wrong, because you know neither the scriptures nor the power of God. For in the resurrection they neither marry nor are given in marriage, but are like angels in heaven. And as for the resurrection of the dead, have you not read what was said to you by God, ‘I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob’? He is not God of the dead, but of the living.”’ (Matthew 22:29-32 )
While Jesus speaks of eternal life beginning on Earth, after death, marriage is not such a great issue because procreation is not required. And as for a harem being the delight of men (Ecclesiastes 2:8), the bliss of being in the presence of God supersedes this no end—the pleasures of the flesh do not compare.

Besides being offensive to adherents of mariolatry, this hadith’s statement of Muhammad marrying the Virgin Mary, and statements like this, are also of eschatological significance. For such statements make it easier for the iconoclastic Islam to merge with the Babylonian Church and its mother/child cult in any forthcoming attempt to introduce a one world religion.

Religion is a tool that is used by those in power to manipulate those who have no power. Lucius Annaeus Seneca is attributed by Brainy Quote to have said: "Religion is regarded by the common people as true, by the wise as false, and by the rulers as useful." Karl Marx claimed that religion was the opiate of the people.

This is evidenced in Saudi Arabia and other places within Islam, and even among all manmade religions—except true religion—for the rulers have rules for themselves that are different to those whom they rule over. And the wise, who are aware of this, know falsehood when they see it; therefore, they deem the masses as gullible when they are suckered into believing mushroom fertilizer will give them virgins in Heaven.

Nevertheless, I am sure that there are some who are inspired to follow Muhammad and, in doing so, aspire to realize something that grows in the dark, which we know is merely a spore in manure. But do not be fooled. Mushrooms do grow fast, when the conditions are right. So if you doubt the possibility of a one world religion, then you have not grasped the implications of what happen at Babel, when the Earth spoke one language and nothing was impossible for them to do (Genesis 11:1–9). We see those very conditions existing today.
